Mercedes locks in George Russell and Kimi Antonelli for 2026, with Toto Wolff calling Russell’s deal a formality and focusing on travel and marketing tweaks before signatures.
Kimi Antonelli did not just show up at Suzuka 2025. At 18, he led for 10 laps, set a 1:30.965 fastest lap on hard tyres, and finished P6. Calm radio, sharp tyre care, real pace in clean air. A rookie stint that felt like the start of something big.
